What is happening?

THE CITY OF EDINBURGH COUNCIL

(CRAIGLOCKHART ROAD) (TEMPORARY ROAD RESTRICTION AND TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2024 – TEMP/24/161

The Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate a safe working area for Scottish Water excavation and connection installation works, no person shall:

(a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle; &

(b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on Craiglockhart Rd, both sides, from its jnct with Colinton Rd, westwards to the north-eastern kerbline of Elliot Pl.

Existing restrictions will be suspended on the affected section of road described in (b). The alternative route for vehicular traffic is via Colinton Rd & Elliot Pl. The order shall have effect from 9/9/24 to 6/10/24.
