TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 401628 DAMERY LANE (BERKELEY TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401628 Damery Lane from outside of the property known as "Middle Mill Barn" to the opposite side of the bridge for an estimated distance of 20 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for traffic/resurfacing works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF C265 NYMPSFIELD ROAD (NAILSWORTH TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C265 Nympsfield Road from outside of the property known as "Woodfarm" to outside of the property known as "Innis Farm", for an estimated distance of 665 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for pole testing works.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C206 Bath Road from its junction with Church Road to outside of the property known as No.12 Bath Road for a distance of approximately 65 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for pole testing works.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 501502 The Slade (footway only), from the junction with May Lane to its junction with Boulton Lane for a total distance of approximately 180 metres.

Notice is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council in exercise of its enabling powers under Section 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make the above-named order the effect of which will be to prohibit the driving of any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 40 & 50 mph on the following roads in the Parishes of Pitchcombe, Whiteshill and Ruscombe, Stroud and Painswick:

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATHS MKS 1 MKS 2 AND MST 70 (STONEHOUSE TOWN AND KINGS STANLEY PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has further extended the above Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of the Footpaths as described in the Schedule below.
Schedule
Part of Public Footpath MKS 2 in the Parish of Kings Stanley from its junction with the Multi accessible track at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SO 82803/04378 extending in a generally south westerly direction for approximately 320 metres to its junction with Public Footpath MKS 13 at OSGR SO 81938/04294 and shown on the Order Map by a bold solid black line marked A to B.
Part of Public Footpath MST 70 in the town of Stonehouse from its junction with the Multi accessible track at OSGR SO 81839/04431 extending in a generally south westerly direction for approximately 85 metres to its junction with the parish boundary between Stonehouse and Kings Stanley at OSGR SO 81686/04346 before continuing along part of Footpath MST 70 in the Parish of Kings Stanley to OSGR SO 81688/04364 and shown on the Order Map by a bold solid black line marked A to D to E.
The said closures are necessary to protect the public whilst utility works take place.
The Secretary of State's original Order came into force on the 28th March 2022, but as the said works have not been completed, the Secretary of State granted an extension of closure until 28th September 2023 and then again until 28th September 2024. However, works are still being completed and the Secretary of State has now granted a further extension until 27th September 2024 or until the works are completed.
Pedestrian access will be maintained.

The reason for the closure is for works by Severn Trent Water.

PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (PUBLIC FOOTPATH EAT 13 (PART) (TOWN OF STONEHOUSE AND PARISH OF EASTINGTON) DIVERSION ORDER 2024
On the 1st August 2024 the Gloucestershire County Council confirmed the above Order under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert the length of public footpath as described in the Schedule A above and shown on the Order map to the new route as described in Schedule B. A copy of the Order as confirmed and the Order Map have been deposited at The Map Room, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester GL1 2TG, and may be inspected free of charge during normal office hours. The Order became operative as from the 1st August 2024, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 as amended or the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 as amended, or that any requirement of these Acts has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Notice is first published, make an application to the High Court.

EMERGENCY CLOSURES OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH MST 2 STONEHOUSE TOWN STROUD DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath MST 2 in a generally westerly and northerly direction for approximately 700 metres.
The said footpath falls within the town of Stonehouse in the Stroud District, Gloucestershire.
The said Public Footpath was originally closed by Emergency Notice, commencing 8th September 2023 for an initial period of 21 days. The new Order came into force on the 20th May 2024 for a period of up to six months from the date of this Notice unless the works have not completed by the time the Secretary of State has granted an extension. Access to properties on or adjacent to the said Public Footpath will be maintained. Emergency Access will be maintained.
