What is happening?

KIRKLEES COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

(MALLINSON STREET, DEWSBURY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Mallinson Street, Dewsbury from a point outside property no. 8 Mallinson Street to its junction with Brunswick Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Mallinson Street, Green Lane, Brunswick Street and vice versa

It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 25 September 2024 for approximately one day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)

(VARIOUS ROADS IN DEWSBURY AND BATLEY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the

Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in Dewsbury and Batley on a rolling programme as follows:-

South Street, Saville Town, Dewsbury - from Warren Street to Pentland Road

Pentland Road, Saville Town, Dewsbury- from South Street to Headfield Road

Bridle Street, Soothill, Batley - from Soothill Lane to the end

Purlwell Avenue, Batley - from Purlwell Lane to the end

Park Croft, Staincliffe, Batley - from Woodsome Estate to the end

Monk Ings Avenue, Birstall, Batley - from Bradford Road to the end

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

Please be advised the diversions will be signed locally as and when required It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 23 September 2024 on a rolling programme of works and remain in force for until 18 November 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)

(SALTER STREET, BATLEY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Salter Street, Batley from its junction with Upper Road to a point outside property no. 1 West View PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

No Diversion route as no through Road It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 10 September 2024 from 19:00 hours and will remain in force until 11 September 2024 to 06:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)

(ACCESS FROM HIGH STREET TO MARKET STREET, HECKMONDWIKE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Access From High Street To Market Street, Heckmondwike from its junction with High Street to a point approximately 12 metres south west along Market Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Market Street, Walkley Lane, Heckmondwike Road, Cemetery Road, Huddersfield Road, Pinfold Hill, Webster Hill, Dewsbury Ring Road, Halifax Road, High Street. Cemetary Road is one way only heading towards Dewsbury Ring Road

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 9 September 2024 from 20:00 hours and will remain in force until 10 September 2024 to 06:00 hours (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)

(MARK STREET, MILLBRIDGE, LIVERSEDGE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the

Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Mark Street, Millbridge from its junction with William Street to its junction with Huddersfield Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Huddersfield Road, Halifax Road, Sampson Street, Mark Street and vice versa

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 9 September 2024 and will remain in force for until 23 September 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
