Notice of Temporary Footpath Closure

Wallingford Footpath No.390/33/10 along Winterbrook Lane Date of Order: 06/11/2023 Order in force: 11/11/2023

The closure Order was introduced for the provision/ installation of utility services and major housing development works which was expected to be completed 30 September 2024. The works will take longer and the closure will therefore be extended to 31 December 2025.

The effect of the Order is to close temporarily part of Footpath No.390/33/10 along Winterbrook Lane.

Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed sections of footpath. The alternative route is signed in the surrounding field outside the development perimeter. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. The order, with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport will remain in force until 31 December 2025 or until the order is revoked whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T11287/MR)

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Warborough, Footpath 392/17/10 Date of Order: 02/09/2024 Coming into force: 09/09/2024

This Order is being introduced due to construction of the Benson Relief Road Scheme. The closure is anticipated to be in place until 30 November 2024.

The effect of the Order is to close temporarily footpath No.392/17/10 which runs from Elm Bridge roundabout northwards to Warborough Bridleway 392/16/10 (The Green South). Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for pedestrian access to property which is only accessible from the closed section of footpath.

There is no off-road alternative route. (Ref. T14297/AC)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Lockinge, Footpath between Beggars Lane and Wagon Place Date of Order: 23/09/2024 Coming into force: 03/10/2024

This Order is being introduced due to repairing of railings and steps to the footbridge (Bridge #6237) which is anticipated to be completed on 16 October 2024. This is a 24 hour footpath closure.

The effect of the Order is to close temporarily that part of the footpath as is carried by the footbridge crossing A420 near Southmoor. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when and where the measures are in force.

Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed sections of footpath.

The alternative route will be signed locally. (Ref. T14471/AC)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Little Milton, A329 Stadhampton Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 16/09/2024

Coming into force: 23/09/2024 This Order is being introduced because of urgent safety repairs to damaged carriageway and drainage that is anticipated to take 4 weeks to complete.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit vehicles proceeding in the section of A329 Stadhampton Road between Gains Bridge and Gold Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.

Traffic will be diverted via A329 -A40 - A4142 - B480 and vice-versa.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T14260/MR)
