U36 Buckton To Road End - Temporary Road Closure

U36 BUCKTON TO ROAD END AT FORESHORE BUCKTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U36 Buckton To Road End At Foreshore Buckton from 1380 metres north east of its junction with the A1 heading in a north easterly direction for a distance of 630 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 26th September 2024 until the 18th October 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 26th September 2024 until the 2nd October 2024 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 18th October 2024.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

The closure has been requested by Go Fibre to install poles and carry out mole ploughing for the installation of fibre cabling. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
