NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 5 September 2024 Sheffield City Council made the above Orders which come into operation on 9 September 2024 under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order will be to:
- Prohibited left-hand turn except for pedal cycles on part of Rockingham Lane;
- Prescribed right-hand turn except for tramcars on part of West Street;
- Prohibition of Driving except for Pedal Cycles on parts of Carver Street and Wellington Street;
- One Way Traffic (with pedal cycle exemption) on parts of Division Street, Carver Street and Wellington Street;
- One Way Traffic on Backfields and Backfields to Carver Street Link Road;
And remove:
- One Way Traffic on parts of Backfields, Backfields to Carver Street Link Road and Carver Street;
A copy of the Order may be examined during normal opening hours at First Point Reception, Howden House, 1 Union Street, Sheffield, S1 2SH or within the Sealed Traffic Orders section on the Council website at
https://www.sheffield.gov.uk/home/roads-pavements/traffic-orders
Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the enabling Act or that a requirement of the enabling Act or any of the relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with may, within six weeks of 9 September 2024 make application for that purpose to the High Court.
