U1056 OLD LYHAM TO OLD HAZELRIGG CHATTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER NO.2 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U1056 Old Lyham to Old Hazelrigg from its junction with B6349 heading north for a distance of 790 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 25th September 2024 until the 11th October 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 25th September 2024 until the 27th September 2024 between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 11th October 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B6349, C39, U1056 and vice-versa

The closure has been requested by Go Fibre to carry out mole ploughing for the installation of fibre cabling. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
