C148 St Leonards Lane - Temporary Road Closure

C148 ST LEONARDS LANE MITFORD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C148 St Leonards Lane Mitford from its junction with the B6343 to its junction with the road from St Leonards Road to Spital Hall for a length of 230 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 16th September 2024 until the 16th March 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 16th September 2024 until the 18th September 2024 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 16th March 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C144, C147, B6343 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for drainage repair works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
