What is happening?

FALKIRK COUNCIL

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

Greenhill Road, Bonnybridge from 08:00 until 18:00 on 09/09/24. The prohibition is to allow for ironworks repairs to be undertaken.

1. This Order temporarily closes from a point adjacent to Grahamsdyke Crescent in a northerly direction for approximately 90 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: B816, Reily Road, Greenhill Road or vice versa.
Marchlands Terrace, Bo'ness from 08:00 on 06/09/24 until 16:00 on 20/09/24. The prohibition is to allow for utility works to be undertaken.

1. This Order temporarily closes from a point adjacent to Braehead in a southerly direction for approximately 150 metres or thereby.

C15 Bonnybridge from 08:00 until 18:00 on 10/09/24. The prohibition is to allow for telecommunications works to be undertaken.

1. This Order temporarily closes from a point adjacent to Cadgers Loan in an easterly direction for approximately 150 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: C46, B816 Broomhill Road, B816 Seabegs Road, C15,

Stewart Avenue/Grange Terrace, Bo'ness from 07:30 hours on 10/09/24 until 17:00 hours on 15/09/24 to allow for carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out.

1. This Order temporarily closes:
a. Stewart Avenue, Bo’ness from its junction with The Bog to its junction Grange Terrace.
b. Grange Terrace, Bo’ness from its junction with Stewart Avenue, to a point in an easterly direction, 200m from its junction with Stewart Avenue.
2. The alternative route is: Linlithgow Road (A706), Dean Road (A993), Grahamsdyke Road (A993), Harbour Road (C92), Grange Loan, Grange Terrace and vice versa.

Maggie Woods Loan, and Gartcows Road, Falkirk from 07:30 hours on 10/09/24 until 17:00 hours on 20/09/24 to allow for carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out.

1. This Order temporarily closes:
a. Maggie Wood’s Loan (C103), from its junction with Westburn Avenue (B8080) to its junction with Gartcows Road (C75).
b. Gartcows Road (C75), Falkirk, from its junction Maggie Wood’s Loan (C103) to a point in a southerly direction, 110m from its junction with Maggie Wood’s Loan (C103).
2. The alternative routes are:
a. Western Diversion - Windsor Road (C103), Glenfuir Road (B816), Westburn Avenue (B8080) and vice versa.
b. Eastern Diversion – Westburn Avenue (B8080), Major’s Loan, Gartcows Road (C75) and vice versa.

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit waiting in:

A883 Stirling Street, Denny from 09:30 until 18:00 on 09/09/24. The prohibition is to allow for ironworks repairs to be undertaken.

1. This order prohibits waiting on A883 Stirling Street, Denny from a point adjacent to number 46 in a southerly direction on both sides for approximately 45 metres or thereby.
