B1337 Grangemoor Road - Temporary Road Closure

B1337 GRANGEMOOR ROAD WIDDRINGTON STATION
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER NO.2 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B1337 Grangemoor Road Widdrington Station 12 metres either side of the level crossing for a total length of 24 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 10th September 2024 until the 11th September 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 10th September 2024 until the 11th September 2024 between the hours of 23:30 and 05:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 11th September 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B1337, A1068, A197, B1337 and vice versa.

The closure has been requested by Chevron Traffic Management on behalf of Network Rail to lift out the level crossing for tamper works. Other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
