U6114 QUEEN STREET MORPETH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6114 Queen Street Morpeth from 34 metres east of its junction with Bennetts Walk heading in an easterly direction for a distance of 18 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 23rd September 2024 until the 4th October 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 23rd September 2024 until the 27th September 2024 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 4th October 2024.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to excavate and carry out pipe renewal and chamber installation. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
