U2014 Common Flat Junction To Lucker Junction - Temporary Road Closure

U2014 COMMON FLAT JUNCTION TO LUCKER JUNCTION LUCKER
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U2014 Common Flat Junction To Lucker Junction from its junction with A1 heading north east for a distance of 650 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 13th September 2024 until the 11th October 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 13th September 2024 until the 26th September 2024 between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 11th October 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the U2014, U2023, U2022, A1 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Go Fibre Road to carry out mole ploughing for the installation of fibre cabling. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
