U2003 Outchester To Chester Hill - Temporary Road Closure

U2003 OUTCHESTER TO CHESTER HILL BELFORD
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U2003 Outchester To Chester Hill Belford from its junction with the C59 heading south for a distance of 470 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 23rd September 2024 until the 11th October 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 23rd September 2024 until the 27th September 2024 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 weekdays work only during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 11th October 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the C59, B1342, U2003 and vice-versa

The closure has been requested by Go Fibre to carry out pole installation and mole ploughing for the installation of fibre cabling. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
