What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
A632 HOLLIS LANE / HADY HILL, CHESTERFIELD
WHEN: 23 September to 24 September 2024 (23:00 to 06:00)
WHERE: A632 Hollis Lane, Hady Hill, Chesterfield between its Jct. with the A61 Inner Relief Road off slip to its Jct. with Clayton Street.
REASON: To facilitate rail bridge inspection works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A632 (from point of closure), Spital Lane, St Leonards Drive, Hasland Road, The Green, Storforth Lane, A61, Hornsbridge Interchange, A617, Lordsmill Interchange, A632 (to point of closure) and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
