U3068 EGLINGHAM JUNCTION
TO SMALLBURN JUNCTION EGLINGHAM
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3068 Eglingham Junction To Smallburn Junction Eglingham from its junction with B6346 heading east and then north for a distance of 965 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 30th September 2024 until the 25th October 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 30th September 2024 until the 11th October 2024 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 weekday working only during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 25th October 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the U3068, B6346 and vice-versa

The closure has been requested by Go Fibre to install boxes and carry out mole ploughing for the installation of fibre cabling. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
