ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(HOLCOT ROAD, WALGRAVE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Holcot Road, Walgrave as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Holcot Road, Walgrave from Redhill House to Cemetery.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety due to parapet repair works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 23rd September 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for seven days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Walgrave Road, Main Street, Sywell Road, A43, Kettering Road and High Street.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(ROOKERY LANE, CHAPEL LANE & BRIDGE ROAD, STOKE BRUERNE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of Rookery Lane, Chapel Lane and Bridge Road, Stoke Bruerne as set out below.

LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Rookery Lane – use Chapel Lane to A508. Chapel Lane – its entire length. Bridge Road – Chapel Lane to The Greenway.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during micro asphalt works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 23rd September 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for three days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use A508, Courteenhall Road, High Street, Stoke Road and Bridge Road.

(COLLINGDALE ROAD, NORTHAMPTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Collingdale Road, Northampton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Collingdale Road, Northampton from the junction of The Headlands to Silverdale Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pothole repairs.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 26th September 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for two days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Silverdale Road, Booth Lane South and The Headlands.

(BRINGTON ROAD, ALTHORP)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Brington Road, Althorp as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Brington Road, Althorp from the junction of the A428 to Great Brington.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during installation of an air valve.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 9th September 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for five days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use A428, New Sandy Lane, Roman Road and Steeple Lane.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Leys Lane, Great Houghton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Leys Lane, Great Houghton from Houghton Road to no.38 The Green.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during cabling works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 10th September 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for two days.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Northampton Road, Denton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Northampton Road, Denton from the junction of the A428 to The Lane.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pole replacement works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 11th September 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for one day.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Bedford Road and A428.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of Harborough Road and Northampton Road, Brixworth as set out below.

LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Harborough Road – from the junction of Holcot Road to Scaldwell Road and Northampton Road – from the junction of Holcot Road to Spratton Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during micro asphalt works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 15th September 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for one day.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use Scaldwell Road and Holcot Road or Harborough Road, A508 and Northampton Road.
