What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 THE COUNTY OF DEVON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION)

(SOUTHBROOK LANE, ROCKBEARE) ORDER 2024 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC

NOTICE is hereby given that Devon County Council intends to make the above titled order. From 30/9/24 for a maximum of 18 months. Anticipated Finish 7/10/24. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed on the sections of Affected Roads.

Roads affected: Southbrook Lane, Rockbeare

The alternative, signed, route for vehicles will be via - Southbrook Lane, B3174 Ottery St Mary, Church Road Whimple, Broadclyst Road Whimple, Cockerams Road Whimple, Southbrook Lane Whimple & vice versa.

This temporary restriction is considered necessary to enable: Trenching across road to allow for the installation of a new mains electric cable to feed 9 new dwellings.
