NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road closure for Yorkshire Water pressure management works. Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Dixon Lane, Lower Wortley, Leeds in the Farnley & Wortley Ward between its junctions with Dixon Lane and Kenilworth Road. Leeds City Council has made an Order the effect of which will be that: No pedestrian shall proceed along the Westgate footway in the Little London Woodhouse ward, from Grace Street to outside the Castle Street Carpark. A diversionary route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be available via: Phase 3 (09/09/24-18/10/24) – Westgate, Lisbon Street, Castle Street, Little Queen Street, Grace Street and vice-versa. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for carriageway resurfacing works Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Roundhay Road, Leeds in the Gipton & Harehills Ward between its junctions with Roseville Road and Harehills Lane. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Roundhay Road, Harehills Lane, Chapeltown Road and vice versa. Harehills Road, Beckett Street, Lincoln Green Road, Skinner Lane and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. (Bridleway Leeds 5) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

The Council of the City of Leeds has made the following Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: the LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (BRIDLEWAY LEEDS 5) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024. The Order closes to equestrians, pedestrians and all other users; Bridleway Leeds 5, from Cookridge Lane in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 550 metres to Rushes Farm. The closure will be in effect between 09:00 and 16:30, Monday to Friday inclusive. The diversion routes are (i) for pedestrians – via Cookridge Lane, then proceeding easterly on Definitive Footpath Leeds 7, then northerly on Definitive Footpath Leeds 8 to Definitive Bridleway 5, and vice versa; and (ii) for cyclists and equestrians – via the A660 Leeds Road, Holt Lane and Cookridge Lane, and vice versa. The Order is necessary to enable carriageway resurfacing works to be undertaken near the bridleway. The Order is due to come into operation on 9 September 2024. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 18 September 2024, at which time the Order will cease to have effect. The Order may however continue in effect to 9 March 2025, or such time as may be required by the progress of the works. (Footpaths Garforth 25 And Great and Little Preston 13) ( Temporary Footpath Closure) Order  2024

The Council of the City of Leeds has made the LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (FOOTPATHS GARFORTH 25 AND GREAT AND LITTLE PRESTON 13) (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to close to pedestrians Definitive Footpath Garforth 25 and Definitive Footpath Great and Little Preston 13 – from Manor Farm on Main Street to where Definitive Footpath Garforth 25 meets with Definitive Footpath Great and Little Preston 13, ending where Definitive Footpath Great and Little Preston 13 meets with Definitive Footpath Great and Little Preston 11. The diversion route is via Main Street, Leeds Road, Definitive Bridleway Garforth 43, Definitive Bridleway Garforth 33, Definitive Bridleway Great and Little Preston 26, Definitive Bridleway Great and Little Preston 18. The closure is necessary to facilitate the installation of a bridge over the River Aire, to link Footpath 25 with Great and Little Preston 13 and Garforth 26. The Order will come into operation on 1 September 2024 and may continue in effect until 1 March 2025, or until such time as the works are complete, which is anticipated to be 30 October 2024. (Speed Limit) (No.1) Order 2024

LEEDS CITY COUNCIL has made the above Order under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order which will come into operation on the 29th August 2024 is to introduce: 1. 20 MPH Speed Limit on: the entire lengths of Abbey Close, Bidder Drive, Bronte Drive, Crown Avenue, Forest Ridge, Healey Gardens, Millard Road, Millard Way, Moor Knoll Gardens, Paddock Rise, Reservoir View, Rhubarb Way, Ripley Close, Scampston Drive, St Michaels Drive, Steeple Close, and Worcester Close. If you wish to object or question the validity of an Order or any provision contained within it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not be complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks from the date of making, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
