CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL
(ASPLEY LANE, ASPLEY GUISE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Aspley Lane, Aspley Guise outside Birchmoor Farm.
This temporary closure is required to enable a meter exchange to take place in safety and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place on 9 September 2024 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Woburn Road, Aspley Hill, Woodside and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 9 September 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Beancroft Road, Marston Moreteyne between Eastbound Junction Slip Road and Westbound Junction Slip Road.
This temporary closure is required to enable resurfacing works to Westbound Junction Slip to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 9 to 11 September 2024 between the hours of 8pm and 6am. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via A421 to Marsh Leys Roundabout and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 9 September 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(BRINSMADE ROAD, AMPTHILL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the full length of Brinsmade Road, Ampthill. This temporary closure is required to enable micro asphalt surfacing work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 9 to 18 September 2024 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Lea Road, Saunders Piece, Arthur Street, Dunstable Street and Church Street, this is a one-way diversion only.
The Order will come into operation on 9 September 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Tyburn Lane, Pulloxhill outside number 13. This temporary closure is required to enable stop tap replacement works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 23 to 25 September 2024. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Greenfield Road, Church Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 23 September 2024 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

On 27th August 2024 Central Bedfordshire Council made the below named Traffic Regulation Order which has the
effect as follows:-
To introduce Parking for Disabled Badge Holders only on the following length of road in Aspley Guise:-
1. Bedford Road, north side, from a point approximately in line with the western flank wall of No. 2 Bedford Road and extending in a north-easterly direction, covering an area approximately 6.6 metres in length and 2.4 metres in width.

1. Court Road, north side, from approximately 1 metre south-east of the north-west property boundary of No. 11 Court Road and extending in a north-westerly direction for approximately 25 metres.
2. Court Road, north side, from approximately 26 metres north-west of the north-west property boundary of No. 11 Court Road and extending in a north-westerly direction for approximately 25 metres.

3. S tation Road, south-west side, from the junction with Hurst Grove and extending in a north-westerly direction for approximately 16 metres, ending at a point in line with the northern flank wall of No. 19 Station Road.
