BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL

(CONTROL OF ON-STREET PARKING)

(No. 1) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bracknell Forest Borough Council has made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32, 35 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, and the Traffic Management Act 2004.

Effects of the Order:

1. The Order will have the effect to introduce the new restrictions as detailed in Schedules 1 & 2;
2. All of the remaining waiting restrictions, loading/unloading restrictions, stopping restrictions and disabled bays within the Borough of Bracknell Forest will remain unchanged and will be consolidated into this new Order.
3. The Order was made on the 2nd day of September 2024 and will come into operation on the 5th day of September 2024.

Orders to be Consolidated into this Order and revoked:

• Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Control of On-Street Parking) (No.1) Order 2023 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety.
• Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Disabled Parking Spaces) (Phase 2) Order 2023 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety.
• Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Disabled Parking Spaces) (Phase 1) Order 2024 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety.
• Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Fernbank Crescent, Ascot) (Temporary Disabled Parking Bay) Order 2024 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety.
• Bracknell Forest Borough Council (Woodcote Green & Old Wokingham Road, Crowthorne) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2021 will be consolidated into this Order and revoked in its entirety.

Objections: Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the 4th day of September 2024, make application for this purpose to the High Court.

  From its junction with Sandhurst Road eastwards for a distance of 95 metres.

• Pinehill Road (Southern side)

  From its junction with Sandhurst Road eastwards for a distance of 100 metres.

• Wood Lane (Both sides)

  From a point 543 metres north of the north of its junction with Temple Way northwards for a distance of 115 metres.

• Ullswater (Both sides)

  From a point 41 metres north-east of its junction with Halifax Road north-eastwards for a distance of 28 metres.

  From a point 99 metres north-east of its junction with Halifax Road north-eastwards for a distance of 25 metres.
