(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Austell. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 5th October 2024 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0700 and 1600, weekends included.

Road affected - Road From Junction North Of Polven To Borough Boundary, St Austell for its entire length.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 2nd September 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in Bodmin. This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th September 2024 to 27th September 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Roads affected - Access To Pendrift, Road From Lanxon Road To Manor House Road From Tregenna Road To Trewint Hill, Bodmin for their entire length.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bodmin. This prohibition is necessary for prinicpal road maintenance and gully emptying works and it is expected that the closure will be from 2nd October 2024 to 3rd October 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Priory Road To Carminow Road, Bodmin, A38 Between Carminow Cross and Cooksland Road.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 16th September 2024 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0830 and 1530, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From School Road To Junction With New Road, Summercourt from junction with School Road to junction with Road From Junction North Of Higher Trefullock Farm To St Austell Street.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newquay. This prohibition is necessary for new fibre infrastructure works and it is expected that the closure will be from 30th September 2024 to 11th October 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Road Through Trebudannon, Newquay from outside Hawkes Farm to outside Trebudannon Farm.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 2nd September 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Summercourt. This prohibition is necessary for new fibre infrastructure works and it is expected that the closure will be from 19th September 2024 to 25th September 2024. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Road affected - Road From Troan Farm To School Road, Summercourt from close to junction with Road From Grave Yard To Narrow Lane to grid reference SW 89009:57203.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Traffic Restriction Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Tower Road, Newquay from near No 106 to near No 27.

Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one-way order The County of Cornwall (Newquay) (Restrictions on Driving) (Consolidation) Order 1991 Fore Street (Class Ill) from junction at Sydney Road to junction at Tower Road.

The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works for essential cleaning of SWW sewer pipes are being executed on or near the road. The Order will come into operation on 4th October 2024 and the works are expected to be completed by the 4th October 2024. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only.

Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 2nd September 2024 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Camelford. This prohibition is necessary for drainage repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 19th September 2024 to 20th September 2024. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1700, weekdays only.

Road affected - Trefrew Road, Camelford between the junction of Warrens Field and property known as The Thorns.
