What is happening?
STATION ROAD, RAINHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable electricity supply works to be carried out -
Station Road, Rainham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 123 Station Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Station Road, London Road, Ito Way, Yokosuka Way and Lower Rainham Road.
This order will come into force on Saturday, 21 September 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Saturday, 21 September 2024 and are programmed for completion within one day. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

SEYMOUR ROAD, RAINHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a new public utility connection to be made -
Seymour Road, Rainham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 1 Seymour Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via London Road, Oak Lane and Canterbury Lane.
This order will come into force on Monday, 30 September 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 30 September 2024 and are programmed for completion within 5 days. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

PUMP LANE, GILLINGHAM (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable the structural integrity of telephone poles to be tested -
Pump Lane, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the centre line of Pump Lane railway bridge and a point 400 metres northwards thereof. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be provided and signed.
This order will come into force on Monday, 16 September 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 16 September 2024 and are programmed for completion within one day (with works taking place between 9.30am and 3.30pm. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

MAYWEED AVENUE AND FOXGLOVE CRESCENT, CHATHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable two new telephone poles to be installed -
Mayweed Avenue and Foxglove Crescent, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic (a) in Mayweed Avenuie from the junction with King George Avenue to a point 50 metres south of the junction with Foxglove Crescent and (b) in Foxglove Crescent from the junction with Mayweed Avenue for a distance of 50 metres in an easterly direction. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. Alternative routes will be provided and signed as the works progress. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
This order will come into force on Friday, 13 September 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Friday, 13 September 2024 and are programmed for completion within one day (with works taking place between 9.30am and 3.30pm. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

FOOTPATH RC9, CHATHAM
(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions for safety reasons during building works -
Footpath RC9, Chatham - to be closed between the junction with Shawstead Road and the junction with North Dane Way. An alternative pedestrian route will be available via footpaths RC11; RC13A and RC15.
This order will come into force on Monday, 16 September 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The footpath is due to be closed on or after Monday, 16 September 2024. If the building works cannot be completed within six months of this date application will be made to Department for Transport for the closure to be extended a further six months. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

KING EDWARD ROAD AND GLADSTONE ROAD, CHATHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable electricity supply works to be carried out -
King Edward Road, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic (a) in King Edward Road from the junction with Gladstone Road for a distance of 50 metres in a northerly direction and (b) in Gladstone Road from the junction with King Edward Road for a distance of 40 metres in an easterly direction. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Hillcrest Road.
This order will come into force on Monday, 23 September 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 23 September 2024 and are programmed for completion within seven days. The order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

CUXTON ROAD, CUXTON
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable carriageway resurfacing and other highway improvements to be carried out -
Cuxton Road, Cuxton (M2 Motorway overbridge) - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between between 15 metres south-west and 15 metres north-east of the bridge over M2 Motorway. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be provided and signed via Rochester Bridge.
This order will come into force on Monday, 16 September 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after 8pm Monday, 16 September 2024 and are programmed for completion within two weeks. These will be night works with closures in place between 8pm and 6am Monday-Friday nights. The order will be effective only when
the appropriate signs are being displayed.
