Havant, Temporary Road Closures Due To Cabling Works

What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - NORTHNEY ROAD & ST PETERS ROAD, HAVANT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROADS TO BE CLOSED:

  • that part of Northney Road between its junction with Northney Lane and a point approx. 65m west of that junction.
  • that part of St Peters Road between its junction with Northney Lane and the property known as St Peters Church.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A3023, Copse Lane.

DURATION OF ORDER: from 2nd September 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 5 days, working between the hours 08:00-18:00).

The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for CCN to carry out cabling works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order, please contact: matthewbeedie@ccncommunications.co.uk CCN will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
