(Arterial Road Slip Road From A1245 To A127 Eastbound, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Arterial Road Slip Road from A1245 to A127 Eastbound, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Fairglen Interchange to its junction with Southend Arterial Road a distance of approximately 340m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd September 2024 for 5 nights (21:00 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP2018236769 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while signage and bollard works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Fairglen Interchange, Southend Arterial Road, Nevendon Road Roundabout and Southend Arterial Road.
The Order will come into effect on 5th September 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is earlier.
(Five Bells On Slip Road To Southend Road Westbound, Fobbing/ Vange + Vange Bypass, Fobbing/Pitsea Bypass, Pitsea + Five Bells On Slip Road From Southend Road Eastbound, Fobbing/Vange + Pitsea Bypass Off Slip Road, Pitsea) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: 1. To temporarily close that length of Five Bells On Slip Road to Southend Road Westbound, Fobbing/Vange in the Borough of Basildon, from the junction with Five Bells Roundabout North to the junction with Vange Bypass a distance of approximately 310m.
2. To temporarily close that length of Vange Bypass, Fobbing/Pitsea Bypass, Pitsea (Westbound Only) in the Borough of Basildon, from a point where Five Bells On Slip Road joins to a point where Pitsea Bypass Off Slip Road joins a distance of approximately 340m.
3. To temporarily close that length of Pitsea Bypass Off Slip Road, Pitsea in the Borough of Basildon, from a point where Pitsea Bypass joins to its junction with High Road a distance of approximately 215m.
4. To temporarily close that length of Five Bells On Slip Road from Southend Road Eastbound, Fobbing/Vange in the Borough of Basildon, from a point where Pitsea Bypass joins to its junction with High Road, Vange, a distance of approximately 300m.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 27th September 2024 for 1 night (21:00 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP2018246392 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while horticultural maintenance works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via A13, A1245, A176 and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 5th September 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is earlier.
(Southend Arterial Road, Basildon + Southend Arterial Road Slip Road From A127 To West Mayne Westbound, Basildon + Southend Arterial Road To Upper Mayne Link Road/ Southend Arterial Road Slip Road From Upper Mayne To A127 Westbound, Basildon + High Road, Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: 1. To temporarily close that length of Southend Arterial Road, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Southend Arterial Road Slip Road From A127 To Upper Mayne Westbound for a distance of approximately 350m in a westerly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Southend Arterial Road Slip Road From A127 To West Mayne Westbound, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Southend Arterial Road to its junction with Upper Mayne a distance of approximately 375m in a south westerly direction.
3. To temporarily close that length of Southend Arterial Road To Upper Mayne Link Road/Southend Arterial Road Slip Road From Upper Mayne To A127 Westbound, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon from the junction with Southend Arterial Road to its junction with Southend Arterial Road a distance of approximately 350m.
4. To temporarily close that length of High Road, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon from its junction with Southend Arterial Road to its junction with Willowfields a distance of approximately 460m.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 23rd September 2024 for 5 nights (21:00 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP2018246383/EP2018268579/EP2018268584 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while vegetation clearance works are undertaken by Triple H Utility Contractors.
An alternative route is available via High Road, Upper Mayne Roundabout, St Nicholas Lane, High Road, High Road Roundabout, West Mayne, Southend Arterial Road.
The Order will come into effect on 5th September 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is earlier.
(St Michaels Road, Hadleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Michaels Road, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from both of its junctions with Bramble Road a distance of approximately 735m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th September 2024 for 1 day (07:00 - 17:00) or where stated on a valid permit (EP2023110102 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while horticultural works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Arterial Road, Rayleigh Byep Slip Road From A127 To A129 Westbound, Rayleigh Road, Daws Heath Road, Bramble Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 5th September 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is earlier.
(Various Roads, Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) (Streetworks No.5) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon, as detailed in the Schedule.
The works are scheduled to commence after 5th September 2024, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on One Network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the roads.
The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent Gas.
The Order will come into effect on 5th September 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is earlier.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close those lengths of roads in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule to this Order.
- A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
- The "Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary No Waiting restriction as above. The temporary waiting restrictions will be enforced by the issue of a penalty charge notice where necessary.
The above works are required for the safety of the public and workforce to facilitate an 18-month programme for each length of road to be re-opened to the public. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of the works and then re-open to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the roads.
The Order will come into effect on 5th September 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is earlier.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Beverley Rise, Billericay in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Greens Farm Lane to its end a distance of approximately 190m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th September 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP2018246068 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close those lengths of road in the District of Rochford as detailed in the Schedule.
The works are scheduled to commence after 22nd August 2024, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on One Network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the roads.
The restrictions are required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas replacement works are undertaken by Cadent Gas.
