ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
B4085 HONEYBOURNE ROAD, BIDFORD ON AVON Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: To avoid the likelihood of danger to the public because of the severe damage to the river bridge. Order Commences: 1 September 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 17 November 2024. Access & Diversion: Cleeve Road, B4085 Main Street, Blackminster, B4035 Badsey Road, A46, B439 Salford Road, B4085, High Street. BARTON ROAD, WELFORD ON AVON Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: To enable works for 4 new water connections. Order Commences: 3 September 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 5 September 2024. Access & Diversion: Barton Road, Long Marston Road, Welford Road, Main Street, Pear Tree Close, Dorsington Road and vice versa. CHAPEL STREET, WELFORD-ON-AVON Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Works in carriageway for new supply. Order Commences: 2 September 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 6 September 2024. Access & Diversion: Millers Close, High Street, Chapel Street and vice versa. Contractor: Doocey Traffic Management, Tel: 03309 000 365.
C72 ETTINGTON ROAD AND C72 CHESTNUT SQUARE (BRIDGE STREET), WELLESBOURNE Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between Walton Road and Chapel Street/Church Walk. Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction and associated works, 09.30hrs-15.30hrs weekdays only. Order Commences: 2 September 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 20 September 2024. Access & Diversion: Ettington Road, A429 Wellesbourne Bypass, Charlecote Road, Warwick Road, Bridge Street and vice versa. Reason for Order: Footway reconstruction works, closed 09.00hrs- 15.30 hrs weekdays only. Order Commences: 2 September 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 9 September 2024. Access & Diversion: Green Lane, Whichford Hill, Ascott Hill and vice versa. Access/Egress to be maintained where possible to businesses and residents only. WEST STREET, SHIPSTON-ON-STOUR Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Full width reinstatement in carriageway. Order Commences: 2 September 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 4 September 2024. Access & Diversion: West Street, Church Street, Telegraph Street, Stratford Road, Shipston Road, Fosse Way, Campden Road, Norgren Crescent and vice versa. Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders: 3400 NEW STREET, SHIPSTON ON STOUR Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic between its junctions with Mill Street (Gyratory) and Old Road. Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing and associated works, 0800-1730hrs on 2 consecutive Sundays. Order Commences: 15 September 2024 for up to 18 months. ARMSCOTE ROAD, ILMINGTON Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Install new water connection from mains to connection point. Order Commences: 16 September 2024 for up to 18 months. A3400 BIRMINGHAM ROAD, STRATFORD UPON AVON Order Effect: One Way Traffic — All traffic will be prohibited from travelling in a northerly direction towards the Stratford Northern Bypass between Maybird island and A46 Bishopton island. Reason for Order: To enable cycleway construction works. Order Commences: 16 September 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 17 November 2024. CHURCH LANE, ALVESTON, STRATFORD UPON AVON Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Work to abandon and replace, new connections supply renewals, backfill, reinstate and clear site. Order Commences: 16 September 2024 for up to 18 months. Order Commences: 11 September 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 13 September 2024 Access & Diversion: There is no available diversion. TELEGRAPH STREET, SHIPSTON ON STOUR Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: To enable works for installation of a pipe. Order Commences: 16 September 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 18 September 2024 Access & Diversion: Telegraph Street, Church Street, Station Road, The Driftway and vice versa. TANKARDS HILL, STRETTON ON FOSSE Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with Harolds Orchard. Reason for Order: To enable works for a pipe renewal. Order Commences: 17 September 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 19 September 2024. Access & Diversion: Tankards Hill, The Sharries, The Green, Church Lane, Main Street, Fosse Way, Horseley Farm Road, Campden Road and vice versa. WAWENSMERE ROAD, WOOTTON WAWEN Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: To enable new supply works. Order Commences: 16 September 2024 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 20 September 2024. Access & Diversion: Wawensmere Road, Alcester Road, Stratford Road, Mayswood Road, Mays Hill, Hunger Hill, Henley Road, Oldberrow Lane, Oldberrow Road, Redditch Road, Morton Bagot Road, Wootton Wawen Road and vice versa. For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS STREETS, STRATFORD-UPON-AVON TOWN CENTRE) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024 Warwickshire County Council has made the above-named Order, pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to introduce a 20 mph speed limit on the lengths of road within Stratford-upon-Avon as described in the Schedule below. The Order commences on 5 September 2024. A copy of the Order, together with a plan showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order may be inspected at the Main Reception, Shire Hall, Market Place, Warwick during usual opening hours, or online at https://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/news/20209/stratford-avon-district. THE WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (KNIGHTS LANE, TIDDINGTON) (30 & 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024 (LOXLEY ROAD/STRATFORD ROAD, LOXLEY LANE, KNIGHTS LANE, PIMLICO LANE, CHURCH LANE ALVESTON, KISSING TREE LANE ALVESTON, ALVESTON HILL, HUNSCOTE LANE AND CHARLECOTE ROAD) (50 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (ORDER 2012) (VARIATION NO.2) ORDER 2024 Warwickshire County Council has made the above-named Orders, pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to replace the existing 50 mph speed limit with 40 mph and 30 mph speed limits on the lengths of road described in Schedules 1 and 2 below. The Orders commence on 4 September 2024.
