What is happening?

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL

(PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.2 (PART) PARISH OF BERRYFIELDS) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2024 made on 21 August 2024, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert the public footpath running from SP79087-16631 NNE for 184m to SP79132-16801 as shown by a bold continuous line on the Order map, to a line running from SP79087-16631 NNE for 20m to SP79096-16647, then N for 12m to SP79096-16661, then NW for 14m to SP79081-16669, then NNW for 56m to SP79071-16716, then NE for 76m to SP79123-16779, then NNE for 12m to SP79132-16801 as shown by a bold broken line and having a width of 2m throughout. Full details of the Order are available at Reception, Buckinghamshire Council, Walton Street Offices, Walton Street, Aylesbury, HP20 1UA and at Aylesbury Library during normal opening hours. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased from the Council at a cost of £5.00 by writing to the Definitive Map and Highway Searches Team at the address given below. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing stating the grounds on which they are made to the Definitive Map and Highway Searches Team, Buckinghamshire Council, Walton Street Offices, Walton Street, Aylesbury, HP20 1UA or email row@buckinghamshire.gov.uk by no later than 2 October 2024. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order. Under the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985 this Council is obliged to make any representations received in response to this notice open to public inspection.
