What is happening?

THE FIFE COUNCIL 

(VARIOUS STREETS, GLENROTHES)

(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

Fife Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 –

(i) Prohibiting the use by vehicular traffic on Rothesay Pl (northbound – from Falkland Pl to North St (Fife House Roundabout)); North St (westbound – from North St (Fife House Roundabout) to Rothes Rd (Jubilee Roundabout); and

(ii) Reversing the one-way system on Falkland Pl/ Town Centre Service Road.

The Order is to allow demolition works to be carried out in safety and will be operational from 16/09/24 to 27/09/24 or until earlier completion of the works. The alternative route for through traffic will be via Falkland Pl and North St. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained.
