NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN WILMSLOW

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic. Prohibition of traffic - Spath Lane, Handforth - For the full extent Henbury Road, Handforth - For the full extent Manchester Road, Wilmslow - For the full extent Bulkeley Road, Handforth - For the full extent For diversions please visit one.network.

This order will come into operation on Wednesday 4 September 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Tuesday 17 September 2024.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - Various Roads in Knutsford

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers

under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling

powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of traffic - Bexton Lane, Knutsford - For the full extent.

King Street, Knutsford - For the full extent.

Mereside Road, Mere - For the full extent.

Chelford Road, Knutsford - For the full extent.

Macclesfield Road, Holmes Chapel/Twemlow - For the full extent

This order will come into operation on Monday 9 September 2024 and will continue

in force for 36 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work

to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be

completed by Monday 31 March 2025.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - Alderley Road, Wilmslow

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic. Prohibition of traffic - Alderley Road, Wilmslow - From the junction of Holly Road south to Fulshaw Cross roundabout.

The alternative route will be via Fulshaw Cross Roundabout, Alderley Road, Manchester Road, Manchester Road Roundabout, Bollin Valley Link, Bollin Valley Link to Dean Row Road, Bollin Valley Roundabout, Birrell Way, Thorngrove Roundabout, Pendleton Way, Harden Park Roundabout and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Monday 9 September 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Thursday 19 September 2024.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC & SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -Stanley Road, Knutsford

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers

under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling

powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of traffic and suspension of one-way - STANLEY ROAD, KNUTSFORD

- From the junction of Bexton Road to the junction of Gaskell Avenue.

The alternative route will be via Northwich Road, King Edward Road, Stanley Road

and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Saturday 26 October 2024 and will continue

in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work

to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be

completed by Monday 4 November 2024.

Public Rights of Way Notice

The Cheshire East Borough Council Definitive Map and Statement (Addition of Bridleway 83 in the parish of Mobberley) Modification Order 2024

On the 12 July 2024 the Cheshire East Borough Council confirmed the above named order. The effect of the Order, as confirmed without modification, is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding a bridleway commencing

on Newton Hall Lane (C106) at OSGR SJ 8048 8029 and running in a generally

easterly direction for approximately 175 metres to OSGR SJ 8065 8029 then running in a generally east southerly direction for approximately 332 metres to OSGR SJ 8091 8008 then running in a generally east southerly direction for approximately 198 metres to OSGR SJ 8109 8003 then curving to run in a generally south south westerly direction for a distance of approximately 20 metres to Moss Lane (UW2144) at OSGR SJ 8110 8000

A copy of the Order and Map has been deposited and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours in the Public Rights of Way office and at the offices of Cheshire East Borough Council Delamere House, Delamere Street, Crewe CW1 2LL. Copies of the Order and the Map may be obtained free of charge from prow@cheshireeast.gov.uk.

The Order became operative as from the 12 July 2024, but if a person aggrieved by the Order desires to question the validity of the Order on the ground that it is not within the powers of Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or that any of the requirements of Schedule 15 of the Act have not been complied with in relation to it, he or she may, within 42 days from the 29 August 2024 make an application to the High Court under paragraph 12 of the said Schedule 15.
