What is happening?

CYNGOR DINAS A SIR ABERTAWE TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE
MUMBLES (FOOTPATHS MU2, MU3, MU5 AND MU6) NOTICE 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City and County of Swansea in pursuance of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make a temporary closure order. The effect of the order is as shown in the Schedule below. The closure is required for health and safety reasons whilst works are undertaken to realign the Coast Path away from coastal erosion.

SCHEDULE

I. Footpath MU2 (Coast Path) from Limeslade to Rotherslade.

II. Footpath MU3 from the junction with footpath 4 at Rams Tor to the junction with footpath MU2.

III. Footpath MU5 from Well Field and Beaufort Avenue to MU2.

IV. Footpath MU6 from Higher Lane to MU2. in the community of Mumbles.

The closure will operate from 20 September 2024 for a period of six months.
