Earl’s Court Road - Temporary Road Closures For Crane Works
What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES EARL’S COURT ROAD
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has made an Order under The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 Schedule 1 - Section 14 (1) (A) and all other enabling powers prohibiting vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below. Where necessary to maintain access for residents and occupiers one way or two-way traffic working may be imposed on affected roads.
ROAD CLOSED TO VEHICLES FOR CRANE WORKS.
Earl’s Court Road to be closed from the junction of Kensington High Street to the junction of Pater Street.
To be closed from 08.00hrs on Saturday 7th September 2024 until 18.00hrs on Sunday 8th September 2024, with backup dates of Saturday 14th September 2024 until Sunday 15th September 2024.
Southbound diverted through traffic may use Kensington High Street, Warwick Gardens, Pembroke Road, Earl’s Court Road.
Northbound diverted through traffic may use Earl’s Court Road, Cromwell Road, Warwick Road, Kensington High Street, or Earl’s Court Road, Cromwell Road, Queen’s Gate, Kensington Road, Kensington High Street.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden.
Nothing in this Order shall apply to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, or for the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency.
