What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF WALTHAM FOREST

ROAD TRAFFIC ACT 1984 SECTIONS 6 AND 45 ST ANDREWS ROAD, STIRLING ROAD AND

SUTHERLAND ROAD E17 FLOOD MITIGATION, TRAFFIC CALMING AND PUBLIC REALM, PROVISION OF "AT ANY TIME" WAITING RESTRICTIONS, REDUCTION AND REMOVAL OF PARKING SPACE TO ACCOMMODATE RAIN GARDENS (T62(24))

The Waltham Forest (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No. *) Order 202* The Waltham Forest (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting. Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment *) Order 202*

1. NOTICE IS GIVEN that the Council proposes to make trie above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 45 and 124 ot and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be:

(a) in St Andrews Road E17 (StA): north side,

i. reduce double yellow line "at any time" waiting restrictions (dyls) outside Nos. 5 and 7 StA and replace with parking space for BLN permit holders (ph) only operating to the BLN CPZ operating hours;

ii. reduce parking space for BLN ph outside Nos. 11 and 13 StA and replace witfi dyls; and

iii reduce parking space for BLN ph outside Nos. 35 to 39 StA and replace with dyls 10 metres(m) in length, south side,

i. reduce 25m of dyls between Nos. 2-6 StA and the NHS Medical Centre and replace with (1) a parking place for BLN ph only 10m in length opposite Nos. 1 and 3 StA operating Mon-Sat 8am-6.30pm and (2) a Pay by Phone (PbyP) parking place 15m in length operating Mon-Sat 8am-1pm and 2pm to 6.30pm with a free 15 mins maximum (max) stay or a PbyP with a max of 3 hours (hrs) with No return in 3 hrs;

ii. remove the PbyP parking place and 5.7 metres of dyls opposite Nos. 19 to 27a StA and replace with a loading bay operating "at any time" with a max stay of 45 mins with no return in 2 hours, between a point 1.9 metres east of the common boundary (cb) of Nos. 17/19 StA and a point 2.5 metres west of the cb of Nos.27/27aStA;

iii. remove the BLN permit parking bay, single yellow line waiting restriction (syl), and 30-min short stay parking bay, all between Nos. 27a and 51 StA and replace with dyls;

iv. Relocate the disabled persons parking bay opposite Nos. 53 and 55 StA eastwards by 2.2m and displacing and replacing the kerb space either side with dyls;

v. remove parking space for BLN ph outside Nos. 11 and 13 StA and replace with dyls; and

vi. reduce parking space for BLN ph outside Nos. 35 to 39 StA and replace with dyls 10m in length.

(b) in Stirling Road E17 (Stg) - east side - reduce permit parking space by 3.7m outside the flank wall of No. 20 Sutherland Road and replace with dyls.

(c) In Sutherland Road E17 (Sun)

i. north side, remove all parking space for HF ph between Stirling Road and Migham Street and replace with dyls except outside Nos. 6 and 8 Suh for 5.5m

ii. south side, reduce dyls outside No. 3 Suh and replace with a 4.9m parking space for HF ph only operating to the HF CPZ operating hours.

3. A copy of each of the Orders, the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans showing the locations and effect of the Orders and other measures can be inspected until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made, the hump measures are implemented or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders or proceed with the hump measures, on request by either emailing traffic.scheme@walthamforest.qov.uk, or visiting (*by appointment) the Highways and Traffic Management office, Low Hall, Argall Avenue E10 7AS during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive; or alternatively documents can be viewed online at: www.walthamforestgoy.uk/content/road-trarfic-schemes-and-consultalions.

4. Any person desiring to object to or to make any other representation with regards to the measures set out or the Orders mentioned should send a statement in writing of either their objection and the grounds thereof or of their representation to Traffic Orders, Highways and Traffic Management, Low Hall, Argall Avenue, London, E10 7AS or by emailing: trafficscheme® walthamforest.gov.uk quoting reference T62(24) - Flood mitigation and public realm parking amendments by the end of a period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
