Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy'n gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag teithio ar hyd y darn hwnnw o Knowles Avenue, Prestatyn yn Sir Ddinbych, o'i chyffordd a Fforddisa tua'r de-ddwyrain am bellter o oddeutu 55 metr.

Mae angen cau'r ffordd er mwyn hwyluso gwaith nwy gan Wales and West Utilities.

Bydd mynediad ar gael i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd y llwybr amgen yn mynd ar hyd Gordon Avenue, Knowles Avenue a Fforddisa.

Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 2 Medi 2024 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi'i gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i'r gwaith bara tan tua 20 Medi 2024.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

DENBIGHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

KNOWLES AVENUE, PRESTATYN

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF

THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -

SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council has made an Order prohibiting vehicles using that length of Knowles Avenue Prestatyn in the County of Denbigh which extends from its junction with Fforddisa in a south easterly direction for a distance of approximately 55 metres.

The closure is necessary to facilitate gas works by Wales & West Utilities.

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The signposted alternative route will be via Gordon Avenue, Knowles Avenue and Fforddisa.

The Order is effective from 2nd September 2024 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 20th September 2024.
