RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Gwynedd wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sydd yn gwahardd unrhyw berson rhag peri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd y darnau hynny o’r ffyrdd isod.

  1. Ffordd o Bont Wen heibio Tyn y Mynydd i Ddolfrwynog, Llanfachreth o bwynt ger Hawl Tramwy Cyhoeddus Ganllwyd Rhif 81 gan deithio mewn cyfeiriad de orllewinol hyd at y gyffordd ger Hawl Tramwy Cyhoeddus Ganllwyd Rhif 79, Llanfachreth.
  2. Ffordd o Bont Wen i gyffordd yr A470, Llanfachreth o’r gyffordd ger Hawl Tramwy Cyhoeddus Ganllwyd 79 i Ty’n Penrhos, Llanfachreth.

Mae angen y Gorchymyn ar sail iechyd a diogelwch i’r cyhoedd yn ystod gwaith gosod dwythell ffibr newydd.

Y ffordd arall, gan gychwyn o bwynt gogleddol y caead, yw dilyn y ffordd mewn cyfeiriad gogledd ddwyreiniol heibio Hen Dôl Frwynog hyd at y gyffordd ger Cloddfa Aur Dolfrwynog. Troi i’r chwith, yna i’r chwith eto yn y gyffordd ger Caffi, Dôl Frwynog Newydd. Dilyn y ffordd hon mewn cyfeiriad gogledd orllewinol hyd at y gyffordd ger Llwybr Troed Cyhoeddus Ganllwyd Rhif 51. Troi i’r chwith i deithio mewn cyfeiriad de orllewinol hyd at bwynt ger Llwybr Troed Cyhoeddus Ganllwyd Rhif 52 a throi i’r chwith. Teithio ar y ffordd hon mewn cyfeiriad de orllewinol. Yn y gyffordd gyda’r Ffordd o Bont Wen i gyffordd yr A470, troi i’r chwith i deithio mewn cyfeiriad de ddwyreiniol hyd at y caead ac i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sydd yn teithio i’r cyfeiriad arall. Bydd mynediad ar gael i drigolion.

Daeth y Gorchymyn i rym ar y 3ydd o Fedi 2024 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd hwy na tri mis neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir y gellir cwblhau’r gwaith o fewn tua 1 mis.

(Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gwynedd Council have made an Order, the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed in either direction along along those lengths of roads noted below.

  1. Road from Pont Wen passing Tyn y Mynydd to Dolfrwynog, Llanfachreth from a point by Public Right of Way Ganllwyd No.81 travelling south westerly up to the junction by Public Right of Way Ganllwyd No.79, Llanfachreth.
  2. Road from Pont Wen to the A470 junction, Llanfachreth from a point by the junction near Public Right of Way Ganllwyd No.79 up to a point by the property known as Ty’n Penrhos, Llanfachreth.

The Order is necessary on health and safety grounds to the public during works to place new fibre ducts.

The alternative route, starting at the northernmost point of the closure, is to follow the road in a north easterly direction passing Hen Dôl Frwynog up to the junction by Dolfrwynog Gold Mine. Turn left, then left again at the junction by Caffi, Dôl Frwynog Newydd. Follow this road in a north westerly direction up to the junction by Public Footpath Ganllwyd No.51. Turn left to travel south westerly up to a point by Public Footpath Ganllwyd No.52 and turn left. Travel on this road in a south westerly direction. At the junction with the Road from Pont Wen to the A470 junction, turn left to travel south easterly up to the closure and vice versa for vehicles travelling in the opposite direction. Access will be maintained for residents.

The Order came into effect on the 3rd of September, 2024 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding three months or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the work will be completed within approximately one month.
