What is happening?

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Market Place, Richmond, Order 2024,

No. 274

We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Market Place, Richmond for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 02/09/24 & 07/10/24, due to cobbling repair works. However, the max duration of this Order is from 01/09/24 until 21/10/24. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Sutton Bank, Sutton-under-whitestonecliffe, Order 2024, No. 299

We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using A170 Sutton Bank for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 08/09/24 & 15/08/24, due to annual maintenance works. However, the max duration of this Order will be for 18 months. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Leake Lane, Nether Silton for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 09/09/24 & 05/12/24, due to bridge repair works. However, the max duration of this Order is until 31 /12/24. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Kidstones Bank, Bishopdale, Order 2024, No. 318

We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Kidstones Bank, Bishopdale for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 16/09/24 & 20/09/24, due to drainage improvement works. However, the max duration of this Order is until 27/09/24. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. 30 Mph Speed Limit, Stokesley Road, Hutton Rudby, Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that on 23/08/24 North Yorkshire Council made an Order under Sections 84(1) & (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, the effect of which is to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 mph on the length of road specified. Stokesley Road, Hutton Rudby, 26 metres east from the centre line of Rudby Lea for a distance of 146 metres in an easterly direction. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 02/09/24, may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton & at Stokesley Library, North Road, Stokesley, North Yorkshire, TS9 5DH during normal office hours from 30/08/24 until 04/10/24 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders.

Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Amendment No Tbc, Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to amend "North Yorkshire Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Hambleton) Consolidation Order 2013" by introducing the restrictions specified:- Table - Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking

Norby, Thirsk, Norby Estate, South side, from its junction with the B1448 Norby Front Street, westwards and south westwards for a distance of 94 metres - No Waiting At Any Time. Norby, Thirsk, Norby Estate, North side, from its junction with the B1448 Norby Front Street, westwards, south westwards then northwards into the spur for a total distance of 129 metres - No Waiting at Any Time. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & at Thirsk Community Library, Meadowfields Chapel Street Thirsk, Y07 1TH during normal office hours from 30/08/24 until 20/09/24 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders.
