Gorchymyn Cefnffordd Yr A44 (Ponterwyd, Ceredigion)
(Gwahardd Cerbydau Dros Dro) 2024
MAE GWEINIDOGION CYMRU wedi gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984. Mae angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn gwneud gwaith ar gefnffordd yr A44, neu gerllaw iddi, ym Mhonterwyd, Ceredigion.
Effaith y Gorchymyn yw gwahardd dros dro bob cerbyd, ac eithrio’r rhai a ddefnyddir gan y gwasanaethau brys neu ar gyfer y gwaith, rhag mynd ar y darn o gefnffordd yr A44 sy’n ymestyn o’r arwydd terfyn cyflymder 40 mya i’r gorllewin o Westy George Borrow hyd at yr arwydd terfyn cyflymder 30 mya ym mhen dwyreiniol Ponterwyd, sef pellter o tua 1.35 cilometr.
Y llwybr arall ar gyfer cerbydau sy’n teithio tua’r gorllewin fydd mynd ar y B4343 tua’r de yn Nyffryn Castell, yr A4120 tua’r gorllewin drwy Bontarfynach i Gylchfan Southgate, Aberystwyth yna tua’r gogledd ar hyd Heol y Bont i ailymuno â’r A44 yn Llanbadarn Fawr: i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sy’n teithio tua’r dwyrain.
Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 9 Medi 2024. Disgwylir y bydd y gwaharddiad dros dro yn weithredol dros nos (19:00 – 06:00 o’r gloch) rhwng 9 Medi a 5 Hydref 2024, neu hyd nes y caiff yr arwyddion traffig dros dro eu symud ymaith yn barhaol.
Dim ond yn ystod y dyddiadau a bennir uchod y disgwylir i’r Gorchymyn fod yn weithredol. Er hynny, bydd yn parhau’n ddilys am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf rhag ofn y bydd angen ailamserlennu’r gwaith neu wneud gwaith canlyniadol neu waith arall.
Bydd hysbysiad am unrhyw newidiadau i’r amseroedd a’r dyddiadau yn cael ei arddangos cyn gwneud unrhyw waith a ailamserlennir.
