THE COUNCIL OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF REDBRIDGE THE REDBRIDGE (WAITING, LOADING, STOPPING AND STREET PARKING PLACES) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2021 (AMENDMENT 13) 2024
The Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, after consulting the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, in exercise of the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and of all other enabling powers, made on 28 August 2024 the above Order, which comes into force on 30 August 2024 the effect of which will be to:
1. Implement double yellow lines (no waiting at any time restrictions) at the following locations;
(1) in Wanstead Lane; (a) both sides between Nos. 136 and 142 Wanstead Lane; (b) adjacent to and opposite the side of No. 93 Beehive Lane;
(2) in Canterbury Avenue; (a) both sides between the junction with Wanstead Lane and No. 113 Canterbury Avenue; (b) both sides between Nos. 39 and 41 Canterbury Avenue;
(3) in Truro Gardens, adjacent to and opposite the side of No. 41 Truro Gardens;
(4) in Chelmsford Gardens, both sides, at the junction with Canterbury Avenue;
(5) in The Drive; (a) outside Nos. 176 and 178 The Drive; (b) opposite Nos. 101 to 103, 5 to 7 and 295 to 303 The Drive;
(6) in Quebec Road, at the side of Nos. 80 and 78 Brisbane Road;
(7) in Castleview Gardens; (a) outside and opposite Nos. 46 to 54 and Nos. 66 to 76 Castleview Gardens; (b) adjacent to and opposite the side of No. 115 Beehive Lane;
(8) in Castle Drive, adjacent to and opposite the side of No. 10 Evanston Gardens;
(9) in Evanston Gardens, outside Nos. 10 and 12 Evanston Gardens;
(10) in Beehive Lane; (a) both sides, between Nos. 111 to 117, and between Nos. 57 to 61 Beehive Lane; (b) outside and opposite Nos. 89 to 99 Beehive Lane;

(15) in Melbourne Road; (a) outside and opposite Nos. 33 and 35 Melbourne Road; (b) at the side of Nos. 121 and 123 Coventry Road;
(16) in Coventry Road; (a) outside and opposite Nos. 119 to 125 Coventry Road; (b) outside Nos. 69 to 75, and 41 to 67 Coventry Road;
(17) in Granville Road, at the side of No. 41 Coventry Road;
(18) in Balfour Road, outside and opposite Nos. 90 to 94 Balfour Road;
(19) in Adelaide Road, at the side of Nos. 105,107, 90a and 92 Balfour Road;
(20) at the junctions of; (a) Balfour Road and Morland Road; (b) Thorold Road and Balfour Road;
2. Extend the existing double yellow lines at the following locations;
(1) in Worcester Gardens, at the side of No. 183 The Drive;
(2) in The Drive; (a) outside Nos. 101, 103, and 38 to 42 The Drive; (b) both sides, between Nos. 295 to 305 The Drive;
(3) in Brisbane Road; (a) outside Nos. 76 to 82 Brisbane Road; (b) at the side of Nos. 86 and 88 Auckland Road;(c) at the side of Nos. 197,199,104, and 102 Coventry Road;
(4) in Exeter Gardens, adjacent to No. 101 The Drive;
(5) in Castle Drive, adjacent to No. 301 Castle Drive and opposite the side of No. 301 The Drive;
(6) in Castleview Gardens; (a) adjacent to No. 178 The Drive; (b) adjacent to Nos. 27 and 28 Hill View Crescent; (c) adjacent to Nos. 27 and 28 Devonport Gardens;
(7) in Hill View Crescent, outside and opposite No. 27 Hill View Cresent;
(8) in Devonport Gardens, outside Nos. 28, 30, 27, and 29 Devonport Gardens;
(9) in Clarence Avenue; (a) opposite Nos. 12 to 16,20, 22, 52, 54, and 58 Clarence Avenue; (b) outside No. 53 Clarence Avenue;
(10) in Perth Road, outside and opposite Nos. 156 to 162 Perth Road;
(11) in Evanston Gardens, outside and opposite No. 2 Evanston Gardens;
(12) in Wanstead Lane, outside No. 107 Wanstead Lane;
(13) in Lonsdale Crescent, at the side of Nos. 306 and 304 Lonsdale Crescent;
(14) in Coventry Road, outside and opposite Nos. 195 to 201 Coventry Road;
3. To relocate the existing loading only bay outside No. 53 Clarence Avenue westwards by 3 metres and reduce it in length by 6 metres;
4. To relocate existing taxi bay at the rear of No. 28 to 32 Cranbrook Road so that it is located 5.7 metres to the north-east of its current position;
5. To reduce the existing length of payment parking places opposite Nos. 6 to 12, and 16 to 18 Clarence Avenue by 5 metres;
6. To reduce the existing length of the no stopping at any time except ambulances bay located opposite Nos. 18 to 24 Clarence Avenue by 4.3 metres;
7. To relocate the existing no stopping at any time except taxis bays from opposite Nos. 52 to 56 Clarence Avenue to opposite Nos. 54 to 58 Clarence Avenue;
8. To revoke existing parking, waiting and loading restrictions in Castleview Gardens outside (a) No. 27 Devonport Gardens; (b) outside No. 27 Hillview Crescent;
9. To revoke the existing taxi bay on the south-eastern side of highway situation between Nos. 28 to 32 Cranbrook Road and the shopping centre;
10. To revoke existing parking, waiting and loading restrictions in the locations mentioned in sections 1 to 4 of this notice;
11. A copy of the Order may be examined along with map-based plans at the Customer Centre, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, llford IG1 1 NY between 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday (except on Bank Holidays).
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any provisions contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
