Roundhill Road, Temporary Prohibition & Clearway Due To Surfacing Works

What is happening?

DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND CLEARWAY) ORDER 2024 ROUNDHILL ROAD, HURWORTH MOOR

Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce:

1. no stopping at any time (clearway); and

2. the prohibition of the driving of vehicles

on the following road, to allow road surfacing works:

ROUNDHILL ROAD

From a point approximately 105metres north of Creebeck Drive junction northwards to its junction with Neasham Road

An alternative route will be signed via Neasham Road, Hurworth Road (Neasham), Neasham Road (Hurworth), Church Row, Church View, The Green and vice versa.

The maximum duration of the temporary restrictions under this Order is 18 months commencing from 2nd September 2024, it is anticipated that the restrictions will be effective for 2 weeks.
