What is happening?

DERBY CITY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS

Derby City Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.

TEMPORARY ONE WAY SUSPENSION ORDER TEMPORARY PARKING BAY SUSPENSION ORDER ON AGARD STREET, DERBY

WHEN: From 21:00 on 27 September 2024 to 06:00 28 September 2024. From 21:00 on 28 September 2024 to 08:00 29 September 2024. From 20:00 on 29 September 2024 to 06:00 on 30 September 2024. WHERE: Road closure: Agard Street, from outside number 6 to outside number 14 – a distance of approximately 35 metres One way suspension for the whole of Agard Street, from its junction with Lodge Lane to outside number 14 Parking bay suspension for the whole of Agard Street REASON: Highway works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Agard Street – Bridge Street – Lodge Lane – Garden Street – Kedleston Road – Duffield Road – Kings Street – St Alkmunds Way – Ford Street

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON KEDLESTON ROAD (SERVICE ROAD), DERBY
WHEN: 16 September 2024 to 11 October 2024 WHERE: Kedleston Road (Service Road), from its junction with Kedleston Road, opposite the access to The Markeaton Public House, to approximately 61 metres north of the access to The Markeaton Public House REASON: Carriageway works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Kedleston Road Service Road – Kedleston Road – Allestree Lane – Kedleston Road Service Road and the same in the opposite direction

Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will be re-opened as soon as the work is finished. Anyone needing further information should ring Brendan Horgan on (01332) 641824 or email traffic.management@ derby.gov.uk
