Suffolk, Multiple Traffic Notices, Temporary Road Closure due to Resurfacing and Repair
What is happening?
SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE B1115 STOWMARKET ROAD, STOWUPLAND
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the B1115 Stowmarket Road, Stowupland from the junction with Thomley Green Road to the junction with Mortimer Road to facilitate resurfacing works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1113, the A1308, the A1120,
the B1115 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 28/08/2024 -30/08/2024 from 8am - 5pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). Enquiries should be made to Priority TM Limited. Tel: 0208 432 8732.
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C684 BURY ROAD, HAWSTEAD Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C684 Bury Road, Hawstead from the junction with Church Road for 20 metres southbound to facilitate repairs to a water pipe. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be Bury Road, The Pound and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from 28/08/2024 -30/08/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C431 RECREATION ROAD, STOWMARKET Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C431 Recreation Road, Stowmarket from the junction with Chilton Avenue for 30 metres south westbound to facilitate a new water connection. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be Violet Hill, the A1308, the B1115
and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 28/08/2024 -30/08/2024 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister). TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE A1152 WILFORD BRIDGE ROAD, MELTON Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the A1152 Wilford Bridge Road, Melton from the junction with Melton Station Car Park for 120 metres eastbound to facilitate survey works in relation to the level crossing upgrade. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period. Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists. The diversion route will be the A1152, the B1069, the B1078, theA12 and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will operate from: * 28/08/2024 - 29/08/2024 from 10pm - 6am
* 09/09/2024 -12/09/2024 from 10pm - 6am.
