What is happening?
THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
SALTSHOUSE ROAD (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along:- Saltshouse Road, from the junction of Robson Way to High Trees Mount, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during carriageway resurfacing works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the days.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will take effect on 30th September 2024, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in a period of approximately 12 days.

ELLERBURN AVENUE (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along:-
Ellerburn Avenue, outside numbers 175 to 181, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during concrete repair works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the days.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will take effect on 30th September 2024, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 8am to 5pm from 30th September 2024 to 7th October 2024.

HOTHAM ROAD SOUTH (PART) AND ILFORD ROAD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along:-
Hotham Road South, outside numbers 709 and 695 (Phase 1), and Hotham Road South, from Hunsley Avenue to 605 Hotham Road South (Phase 2), between 23rd September 2024 to 20th December 2024, these works are in 2 phases following on from each other, and Ilford Road from Worcester Road to Bristol Road, between 2nd December 2024 to 14th March 2025.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during works to construct new manholes and connecting sewer pipework.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the days.
The Order will come into effect 23rd September 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed by 14th March 2025.

RAICH CARTER WAY (ENNERDALE BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with or without a vehicle from proceeding along Raich Carter Way, from Dunswell Roundabout to Barnes Way Roundabout, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during works to test operations to investigate the faults of the Ennerdale moving bridge.
The alternative route for vehicles and pedestrians will be signed on the days.
The Order will come into effect 4th September 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in 3 nights, between 10pm to 6am, commencing 4th September 2024 until 6th September 2024.

BISHOP LANE AND SCALE LANE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along:-
Bishop Lane approximately 10m from Lowgate, from 8am to 6pm commencing 4th September 2024 to 17th September 2024, and Scale Lane approximately 10m from Lowgate, from 8am to 6pm commencing 25th September 2024 to 8th October 2024
The one way system on Bishop Lane and Scale Lane will revert to two way traffic for the duration of the Order.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during cable overlay works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the days.
The Order will come into effect 4th September 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed on the dates shown above.

PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY NO. 11
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along Public Right of Way No. 11 for approximately 127 metres from the River Humber along the South and West elevations of The Deep, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during to allow safe access for a crane lift for works and cladding and glazing inspection on The Deep.
The alternative route for vehicles the footpath along the East elevation of The Deep.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will come into effect 3 September 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in a period of approximately six months.
