Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
SEVENOAKS AREA
B2024 Croydon Road, Westerham, TN16 1TY (30MPH SPEED LIMIT) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
For the safety of the public and workforce during UK Power Networks works, Kent County Council has made an Order for a temporary mandatory speed limit of 30mph to be imposed on a section of B2024 Croydon Road, Westerham from 9th September 2024, with estimated completion by 19th September 2024.
The 30mph speed limit will be between Farley Lane and Greencroft Farm Cottages.
B2042 Green Lane, Four Elms, TN8 6PB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of tree cutting works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2042 Green Lane, Four Elms, on or after 9th September 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with Roodlands Lane.
The alternative route is via B2042 Green Lane/Ide Hill Road/Wheatsheaf Hill/Cold Arbor Road, A25 Westerham Road/Main Road/High Street/Brasted Road, B2026 Hosey Hill/Hosey Common Road, B269 Main Road/Spout Lane/Pootings Road, B2042 Ide Hill Road and vice versa.
Ash Platt Road, Seal, TN15 0AB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of SGN works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ash Platt Road, Seal, on or after 9th September 2024 for up to 19 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Great Oaks.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
Bayleys Hill, Sevenoaks Weald, TN14 6HT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bayleys Hill, Sevenoaks Weald, on or after 11th September 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Holly Bank and Hatchlands Farm.
The alternative route is via Bayleys Hill, White House Road, Gracious Lane Bridge, Oak Lane, A225 Tonbridge Road, Weald Road, Hubbards Hill, Glebe Road, Windmill Road, Long Barn Road, Bowzell Road and vice versa.
Blowers Hill, Mark Beech, TN8 7DS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Blowers Hill, Mark Beech, from 22.00hrs on 9th September 2024, with estimated completion by 06.00hrs on 10th September 2024 or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the railway bridge.
The alternative route is via Station Road, Cow Lane, Cowden Pound Road, B2026 Hartfield Road, Blowers Hill and vice versa.
Childsbridge Lane, Seal, TN15 0BY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of a detailed examination of the bridge structure, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Childsbridge Lane, Seal, on or after 29th September 2024 for up to 1 day between 08.00hrs and 18.00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the railway bridge.
The alternative route is via Childsbridge Lane, Church Street, A25 High Street/Seal Road, A225 Otford Road/Sevenoaks Road/Station Road, Pilgrims Way East, Pilgrims Way and vice versa.
Eynsford Road, Crockenhill, BR8 8EJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Eynsford Road, Crockenhill, on or after 27th September 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Gosenhill Farm and Wested Farm.
The alternative route is via Eynsford Road, Main Road, B258 Broadway/Green Court Road/Goldsel Road, B2173 London Road, Wested Lane and vice versa.
Roodlands Lane, Four Elms, TN8 6PD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of tree cutting, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Roodlands Lane, Four Elms, on or after 27th September 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 16.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Homewood Road and Mead Cottage.
The alternative route is via Roodlands Lane, B2042 Green Lane/Ide Hill Road, B2027 Bough Beech Road and vice versa.
Shacklands Road, Shoreham, TN14 7TT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Shacklands Road, Shoreham, on or after 25th September 2024 for up to 1 day between 08.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Hungrydown.
The alternative route is via High Street, Filston Lane, Pilgrims Way West, Pilgrims Way Link Bridge, A224 Polhill/London Road, Badgers Mount Roundabout, Shacklands Road and vice versa.
Shorehill Lane, Knatts Valley, TN15 6XJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of SGN works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Shorehill Lane, Knatts Valley, on or after 9th September 2024 for up to 10 days between 8:00hrs to 16:00hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Silverdale Cottage.
There is no alternative route but access will be given when safe to do so.
Skeynes Road, Edenbridge, TN8 5DZ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow a compound area for works on Lingfield Road, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Skeynes Road, Edenbridge, on or after 23rd September 2024 for up to 40 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with Lingfield Road.
The alternative route is via Lingfield Road, B2026 Mont St Aignan Way, Stangrove Road, Crouch House Road, Skeynes Road and vice versa.
Uckfield Lane, Hever, TN8 7LH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of tree cutting, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Uckfield Lane, Hever, on or after 24th September 2024 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 16.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Chippens Lane and Rectory Lane.
The alternative route is via Cowden Pound Road, B2026 Stick Hill/Hartfield Road/Mill Hill, Hever Road, Uckfield Lane and vice versa.
Various Roads, Sevenoaks, (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & SUSPEND ONE WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
Because of Gateway Surfacing works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on Various Roads, Sevenoaks, as per the schedule below.
The roads will not be closed at the same time.
