Footpath From Ashlands Close To Siddalls Drive - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic
What is happening?
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(FOOTPATH FROM ASHLANDS CLOSE TO SIDDALLS DRIVE, SUTTON IN ASHFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION) ORDER 2024 (A24-104)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council has made an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Sutton in Ashfield in the District of Ashfield.
The effects of the Order will be:
1. No Person shall proceed on foot or pedal cycle to which the public has access (“Footpath”) in the following length of roads:
a. Footpath from Ashlands Close to Siddalls Drive, Sutton in Ashfield - For its entire length.
2. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
3. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows: From 08:30 Hours, Tuesday 3rd September 2024 Until 17:00 Hours, Monday 16th September 2024, Inclusive.
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative route available will be:
a. Siddals Drive - Windsor Avenue - Keats Avenue - Ashland Road West and Vice Versa
The Order will come into force on Tuesday 3rd September 2024 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out.
The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 6 months).
The prohibition is required to enable IGL Electrical to carry out Works to Install Ducting;
