Beaucroft Lane, Temporary Road Closure Due To Unstable Bank
What is happening?
Temporary Closure of Beaucroft Lane, Colehill
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 26 August 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to impose a temporary road closure and carry out an identified program of work due to an unstable bank adjacent to the highway. The effect of the Order is as follows:
[i] To impose a temporary road closure on; Beaucroft Lane, Colehill between Wesley
Road and Northleigh Lane as indicated by signs on site. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Any person who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the Notice will be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £1000.
