Jury Road, Dulverton, Somerset - Temporary road closure due to tree trimming works
What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Jury Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Jury Road from 25 metres south-east of the junction with Hollam Lane, south-eastwards for a total distance of 70 metres. This Order will enable Hiline to carry out tree trimming works on behalf of National Grid.
The Order becomes effective on 13th September 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 18th September 2024 and last until 18th September 2024 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
