What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1)
The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the
Temporary Traffic Orders described below.
WOOLMER ROAD AND SANDAL ROAD N18 - 4336
Reason for 14(1) Order - District Heat Network works
Operational Dates:
9 September 2024 for approximately 14 weeks on a phased basis until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to close these roads and suspend parking on both sides of the roads in phases. While the restrictions are in on a operation local diversions would be in operation.
DONKEY LANE,CABRIDGE GARDENS, FOOTPATH NOS. 85 AND 87 COMMONLY KNOWN AS SOLDIERS ALLEY - 4337
Reason for 14(1) Order - Essential Highways works
Operational Dates:
9 September 2024 for 4 weeks or until works are completed
The general effect of the Order would be to on :
Donkey Lane - Close this road and suspend parking on the east side from its junction with Carterhatch Lane;
Cambridge Gardens - Suspend Parking on the south side of this road opposite No. 8; Ladysmith Road EN1 - Suspend parking on both sides of this road outside Nos 216 and 218; Close Footpath No. 85 from the side of 217 Ladysmith Road to its junction with Donkey Lane; and Close Footpath No. 87 from its junction with Donkey Lane eastwards for approximately 30 metres. While Donkey Lane is closed Access for residents and businesses would be maintained as far as the works allow.
LYTTON AVENUE, GILDA AVENUE AND DUCK LEES LANE EN3 - 4339
Reason for 14(1) Order - Essential Utility works
Operational Dates:
9 September 2024 for 14 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to :
Lytton Avenue - close this road and suspend parking on both sides of the entire road on a phased basis;
Gilda Avenue - suspend parkin gon both sides of this road from its junction with Duck Lees Lane to the
southern boundary of No. 39; and
Duck Lees Lane - Suspend parking on both sides of this road from outside the common boundary of Nos. 13/15 to outside the common boundary of no.64/66. While Lytton Avenue is closed local diversions would be in operation
