ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14(1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2024 DUKE STREET, BEDFORD 24 – 060
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, from proceeding along Duke
Street Bedford.
This temporary road closure is required to facilitate a telecoms upgrade and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 22:00 to 06:00 hours from 23rd September 2024 to 27th September 2024
The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Mill Street, Gadsby Street.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 23rd September 2024, for a period of 12 months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier. For further information

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14(1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2024 A603 SANDY ROAD,
WILLINGTON 24 – 063
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Sandy Road Willington.
This temporary road closure is required to facilitate resurfacing and Paco of ironworks, installation of chevron signs andreflective verge markers, clearing of ditches and re-digging drainage grips. NEMs 00385753-001 and
shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 20:00 to 06:00 hours from 9th September 2024 to 20th September 2024

Henlow Bypass, Shefford Bypass, Zuc147 From Uc150 Bedford Road Old Warden To B658 Bedford Road, Carmichael Drive, Cambridge Road, Cardington Road, A603 Cardington Cross Roundabout, Sandy Road.
The reverse route applies.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 9th September 2024, for a period of 12 months or until the proposed works have been completed, as

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1) TEMPORARY 30MPH SPEED RESTRICTION ORDER 2024
A603 SANDY ROAD, WILLINGTON 24 – 063
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bedford Borough Council has made an order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from
proceeding along that length Sandy Road, Willington at a speed exceeding of 30mph.
This temporary 30 mph speed restriction is required for safety of the public and workforce for undertaking resurfacing and Paco of ironworks, installation of chevron signs and reflective verge markers, clearing of ditches and re-digging drainage grips. NEMs 00385753-001 and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
This temporary 30 mph speed restriction is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours from 9th September 2024 to 20th September 2024

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984:
SECTION 14(1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2024 KEYSOE ROW WEST, KEYSOE 24 – 021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle and Equestrians from proceeding along the length of Keysoe Row West Keysoe from
Church Road to Hatch Lane.
This temporary road closure is required to facilitate 10km replacement of 12 “ water main and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
This temporary road closure is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours from 10th September 2024 to 22nd October 2024
The signed alternative route for vehicles affected by the order is available via Church Road, Wybridge, Kimbolton Road, Keysoe Row West.
The reverse route applies.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 10th September 2024, for a period of 18 months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier. For further information

PUBLIC NOTICE
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
SECTION 14(1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ORDER 2024 FOSTER WAY, AND NEALE WAY WOOTTON FOOTPATH 24 – 058
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bedford Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrian from proceeding along the footpath of Foster Way and Neale Way, Wootton.
These temporary footpath closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas mains replacement is carried out and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated be indicated by
the appropriate traffic signs.
These temporary footpath closures are anticipated to be in operation 24 hours from 16th September 2024 to 14th October 2024 as and when required
during this period.
Pedestrians affected by the proposed Order should follow the signs on site as appropriate.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 16th September 2024 for a period of six months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
BEDFORD BOROUGH COUNCIL
(STEWARTBY: FOOTPATH NO 5 ) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bedford Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any person proceeding on foot along the
length of Stewartby: Footpath No 5 which extends from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OS GR) TL 0147 4305 (Map point A) to OS GR TL 0186 4242 (Map point B). This temporary closure is required to carry out demolition works.
The closure is expected to take place from Monday 16th September 2024 for a period of six months.
There is no alternative route for footpath users while the closure is in operation.
The proposed Order will come into operation on 16th September 2024 for a period not exceeding six months or until the works which it is proposed
to carry out on or near to the footpath have been completed, whichever is the earlier. If the works are not completed within six months the Order may be
extended for a longer period with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport.
