Stroud District, Multiple Temporary Road Closures Due To Maintenance Works
What is happening?
GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF C193 ROAD FROM CRANHAM CORNER TO JUNCTION WITH B4070 (CRANHAM PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C193 Road from Cranham Corner to junction with B4070 from outside the property known as 'Rose Cottage' to outside the property known as 'Rainbow End' for a distance of approximately 105 metres.
The reason for the closure is for manhole repair and replacement works.
The said road is expected to be closed between 09:30hrs and 16:00hrs on 2nd September 2024 only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershlre.gov.uk.
Alternative Route - as signed on site. Emergency access, and pedestrian access to adjacent properties, will be maintained.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 401626 LANE TO HYSTFIELD (BERKELEY TOWN) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401626 Lane to Hystfield from outside the property known as 'Wycliff Fatm' to outside the property known as 'Hystfield Cottage' for a distance of approximately 145 metres.
The reason for the closure is for pole maintenance works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 407579 LOWER SPILLMANS ROAD (RODBOROUGH PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 407579 Lower Spillmans Road, from outside the property known as '3 Lower Spillmans' to outside the property known as 'Lawdale', for a distance of approximately 50 metres. The reason for the said closure is for works by Severn Trent Water. The said road is expected to be closed between 16th September 2024 until 18th September 2024 only or until the works have been completed. Alternative Route - as signed on site. Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road, and emergency access, will be maintained.

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE OF 401414 THE HAM ROAD (COALEY PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401414 The Ham Road from outside the property known as 'Streamleaze' to outside the property known as 'Tickshill' for a distance of approximately 35 metres. The reason for the closure is for drainage works.
The said road is expected to be closed from 19th September until 23rd September 2024 only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.
Alternative Route - as signed on site. Emergency, and pedestrian access to adjacent properties, will not be maintained due to the unsafe nature of the works.
