What is happening?

THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 (DOG LANE, STAINLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because
of works by Rapid Response Telecoms have made an
Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause
or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Dog Lane
from No. 1 to No.6 for a distance of approximately 5 metres.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles
being used in connection with works being carried out
and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and
vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained.
The alternative route is via Coldwells Hill, High Street,
Beestonley Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the
Order will come into operation on 2nd September 2024 and
remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding
that the works may be completed sooner and the road
re-opened on 6th September 2024. The Order will be in
operation daily during this period between the hours
of 08:00 & 17:00.
(SANDY DYKE LANE, TRIANGLE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because
of works by OCU Utility Services Ltd have made an Order
the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sandy Dyke
Lane from No. 3 to No.2 for a distance of approximately
50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not
extend to vehicles being used in connection with works
being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at
all times and vehicular access for the emergency services
is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via
Dean Lane, Oak Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the
Order will come into operation on 2nd September 2024 and
remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding
that the works may be completed sooner and the road
re-opened on 10th September 2024. The Order will be in
operation daily during this period between the hours
of 08:00 & 18:00.
(TROOPER LANE, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because
of works by Sunbelt Rentals Ltd have made an Order the
effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit
any vehicle to proceed in the length of Trooper Lane from its
junction with Bennett Street to High Grove Lane for a distance
of approximately 80 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition
shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with
works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained
at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services
is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via
Swan Bank Lane, Bailey Hall Road, Berry Lane, Bank Bottom,
Southowram Bank and vice versa. It is proposed that the
Order will come into operation on 2nd September 2024 and
remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding
that the works may be completed sooner and the road
re-opened on 2nd September 2024. The Order will be in
operation daily during this period between the hours
of 09:30 & 15:30.
(WATERHOUSE STREET, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because
of works have made an Order the effect of which will be
the removal of six parking bays on the eastern side of
Waterhouse Street and replacing them with a bus stand and
a bus stop from its junction with Broad Street to its junction
with Gill’s Court for a distance of approximately 80 metres.
Whilst the works take place the six parking bays shall be
suspended and no person shall cause or permit and vehicle
to wait, stop or stand in this area other than those operated
by a bus service collecting or dropping off passengers at
the new bus stand. PROVIDED THAT vehicular access for
the emergency services is maintained. It is proposed that
the Order will come into operation on 5th September 2024
and remain in force for a maximum 18 months or when
the works are completed, whichever is the sooner. The
works are expected to be completed on 5th March 2026.
The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this
period.
(ASHENHURST ROAD, TODMORDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because
of works by Centurion Traffic Management have made an
Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause
or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Ashenhurst
Road from Ceder Close to Wilson Close for a distance of
approximately 120 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition
shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with
works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained
at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services
is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via
unaffected part of Dineley Avenue, Cross Lee Road, Burnley
Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come
into operation on 8th September 2024 and remain in force
for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works
may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on
8th September 2024. The Order will be in operation daily
during this period between the hours of 10:00 & 15:00.
(BACK CAMBRIDGE STREET, TODMORDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because
of works by Avove Services Ltd intend to make an Order
the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Back
Cambridge Street from rear of No.30 to No.40 Cambridge
Street for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED
THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being
used in connection with works being carried out and
pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular
access for the emergency services is maintained.
The alternative route is via Hazelwood Street,
Cambridge Street, Hey Street. It is proposed that the
Order will come into operation on 16th September 2024 and
remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding
that the works may be completed sooner and the road
re-opened on 20th September 2024. The Order will be in
operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(BANKSIDE, TODMORDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because
of works by OCU Utility Services Ltd intend to make an
Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause
or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Bankside
from its junction with Longfield Road and Honey Hole Road
for a distance of approximately 40 metres. PROVIDED THAT
such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in
connection with works being carried out and pedestrian
access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for
the emergency services is maintained to closure point.
The alternative route is via Bank Street, Wellfield Terrace,
Longfield Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into
operation on 16th September 2024 and remain in force for
a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works
may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on
20th September 2024. The Order will be in operation
24 hours daily during this period.
(DOG LANE, STAINLAND)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because
of works by Avove Services Ltd intend to make an Order
the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or
permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Dog Lane
from its junction with Stainland Dean to 6 Spring Terrace
for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT
such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in
connection with works being carried out and pedestrian
access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for
the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route
is via Stainland Dean, Steel Lane, Clough House Lane,
Bottomley Lane, Pitt Hill Lane, unaffected part of Dog Lane.
It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on
16th September 2024 and remain in force for a maximum
18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed
sooner and the road re-opened on 20th September 2024.
The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during
this period.
(UPPER DEER PLAY, MILL BANK)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because
of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the
effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit
any vehicle to proceed in the length of Upper Deer Play from
outside No.1 for a distance of approximately 4 metres.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles
being used in connection with works being carried out and
pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular
access for the emergency services is maintained.
No alternative route available. It is proposed that the
Order will come into operation on 16th September 2024 and
remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding
that the works may be completed sooner and the road
re-opened on 18th September 2024. The Order will be in
operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(HALF HOUSE LANE, HOVE EDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because
of works by Avove Ltd intend to make an Order the effect
of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any
vehicle to proceed in the length of Half House Lane from
No.13 to No.19 for a distance of approximately 28 metres.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles
being used in connection with works being carried out and
pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular
access for the emergency services is maintained.
The alternative route is via Wood Bottom Lane, Mill Hill Lane,
A644 Halifax Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the
Order will come into operation on 18th September 2024 and
remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding
that the works may be completed sooner and the road
re-opened on 18th September 2024. The Order will be in
operation daily during this period between the hours of
09:30 & 13:30.
(HALIFAX OLD ROAD, HIPPERHOLME)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because
of works by EON Lighting and Grid intend to make
an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall
cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of
Halifax Old Road from No.40 to Clouds Hill for a distance of
approximately 400 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition
shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with
works being carried out and pedestrian access is
maintained at all times and vehicular access for the
emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is
via Tanhouse Hill, Halifax Road, Leeds Road, Godly Lane,
New Bank, Listers Road, Shibden Hall Road, unaffected part
of Halifax Old Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the
Order will come into operation on 21st September 2024 and
remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding
that the works may be completed sooner and the road
re-opened on 22nd September 2024. The Order will be
in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
