PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (U20201 Brook Road, Fairfield) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U20201 Brook Road from its junction with U20009 Bournheath Road to its junction with C2062 Dordale Road.

Reason: Works to dig ditch and repair headwall by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U20201 Brook Road, C2062 Dordale Road, U20009 Parish Hill, U20009 Bournheath Road, U20201 Brook Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 2 September 2024.

(Link Footpath F20653 running from Exmoor Drive, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of: Closure 1: Link Footpath F20653 running from Exmoor Drive from its junction with U21369 Exmoor Drive until opposite No. 88. Closure 2: Unnamed Footpath from its junction with Link Footpath F20066 Pennine Road fronting Nos. 199-211 to its junction with Link Footpath F20653 running from Exmoor Drive.

Reason: New/Replacement Gas Main by Cadent Gas.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Diversion Southbound: Link Footpath F20659 running alongside No. 33 Upland Grove, U21357 Upland Grove, U21358 Elm Grove, Unnamed Footpath and vice versa. Diversion Northbound: U21369 Exmoor Drive, U21362 Pennine Road, Link Footpath F20066 Pennine Road fronting Nos. 199-211 and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days (24hrs). Commencing: 2 September 2024.

(C2077 Trench Lane, Oddingley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of C2077 Trench Lane from its junction with C2154 Dunhampstead to Himbleton Road to its junction with U42210 Flash Lane.

Reason: Railway level crossing maintenance by Network Rail.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

No access for emergency vehicles diversion route must be followed.

Alternative route: C2077 Trench Lane (part), C2032 Shaftland Cross to Phepson, C2080 Goosehill Lane, B4090 Hanbury Road, C2076 The Holloway, C2076 Tagwell Road, U42222 Trench Lane, C2077 Trench Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (23:00-09:00). Commencing: 31 August 2024.

(Lane closure on A38 Roman Way, Droitwich Spa) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of the lane on A38 Roman Way from its junction with B4065 Bromsgrove Road to its junction with A442 Roman Way Westlands Roundabout in a Westerly direction only.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A38 Rashwood Hill, A38 Worcester Road, A38 Redditch Road, A38 Bromsgrove Eastern Bypass, A448 Stratford Road, A448 The Strand, A448 Market Street, A448 Kidderminster Road, A448 Bromsgrove Road, A450 Worcester Road, A442 Droitwich Road, A442 Kidderminster Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (20:00-06:00) between 19 September 2024 and 2 October 2024.

(C2057 Callowbrook Lane, Rubery) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of C2057 Callowbrook Lane from its junction with U21606 Richmond Road to its junction with U21612 Waseley Road.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2057 Callowbrook Lane into Birmingham, C2058 New Road, C2058 Legion Road, C2058 Whetty Lane, C2058 Whettybridge Road, C2058 School Road, U21609 Gunner Lane, U21609 Barrington Road, U21606 Richmond Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 1 September 2024 and 18 September 2024.

(C2058 Gannow Road, Rubery) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2058 Gannow Road from its junction with A38 Birmingham Road to its junction with Gannow Walk (NSG Ref. 04700417).

Reason: Renew damaged signposts by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A38 Birmingham Road, U21601 Callowbrook Lane, C2057 Callowbridge Road, C2058 New Road, C2058 Legion Road, C2058 Whettybridge Road, C2058 School Road, C2058 Gannow Road (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 19 September 2024.

(C2143 New Road, Cutnall Green) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of C2143 New Road from its junction with U40009 School Lane to its junction with U40410 Oak Tree Drive.

Reason: Replacement electricity cable by National Grid.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: C2143 School Lane, A442 Kidderminster Road, C2146 Broad Common, C2143 New Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days (24hrs). Commencing: 23 September 2024.

(U23210 Ash Lane, Alvechurch) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U23210 Ash Lane from its junction with A441 Birmingham Road for a distance of 348 metres in a south-easterly direction.

Reason: Utility Work by Openreach.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A441 Birmingham Road, C2036 Lea End Lane, U23204 Watery Lane, U23205 Stonehouse Lane, U23210 Ash Lane and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 26 September 2024.

(A38 Roman Way (Northbound), Droitwich Spa) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of A38 Roman Way from its junction with A4133 High Park Roundabout (northbound only) to its junction with A38 Westlands Roundabout.

Reason: Carriageway preparation for electrical works for Toucan crossing installation by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A4133 Ombersley Road, A4133 Droitwich Road, A449 Main Road, A449 Sytchampton to Mitre Oak, A449 Mitre Oak to Crown Lane, A449 Waresley to Torton, A449 Worceser Road, A442 Droitwich Road, A442 Rushock to Cutnall Green, A442 Kidderminster Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 nights (20:00-06:00) between 23 September 2024 and 4 October 2024.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Various Roads, Finstall) (Revocation) and (30 mph Speed Limit) and Order 2024

The Worcestershire County Council revoke The County of Hereford and Worcester (Restricted Roads) (No 14) Order 1980 30mph Speed Limit, Heydon Road, Finstall Village, Bromsgrove (Revocation), Various Roads, Finstall (Restricted Roads) Order 2002 (Variation) and (Various Roads, Finstall) (30 mph Speed Limit) Order 2014 On 15 August 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to impose 30 miles per hour Speed Limit on the following lengths of roads in Finstall:-

B4184 Alcester Road from its junction with B4184 Finstall Road and C2247 Alcester Road/Stratford Road for a distance of 480 metres in an easterly direction.

B4184 Finstall Road from its junction with B4184 Alcester Road and C2247 Alcester Road/Stratford Road in a generally south westerly direction to a point 21 metres south east of the centre line of the railway bridge.

C2247 Alcester Road/Stratford Road from its junction with U21389 Regents Park Road to its junction with B4184Alcester Road/Finstall Road.

U22015 Heydon Road for its entire length.

U22017 Pikes Pool Lane from its junction with C2247 Alcester Road/Stratford Road for a distance of 25 metres in a northerly direction.

U22018 Penmanor for its entire length.

There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.

The Order will come into operation on 5 September 2024.
