Lincoln Way - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic For Jocks Lodge Scheme
What is happening?

ROADTRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1)
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC A164 LINCOLN WAY, BEVERLEY (PART)
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along A164 (Lincoln Way between Regiment/Morrisons Roundabout and Lincoln Way Roundabout) commencing Thursday 12 September 2024 (for two nights between 19.00 hours and 05.00 hours) to install a Yorkshire Water diversion safely as part of the Jocks Lodge scheme.
The road closure is necessary to enable the closure to go ahead in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 14 September 2024.
The alternative route for traffic affected by this closure will be via (A164)Victoria Road, (A1079) Beverley Bypass, (A1174) Beverley Road, Hull Road and (A164) Minster Way.
Access will be maintained for pedestrians, residents and emergency services.
